A terminal-based fantasy RPG written in C++, using D&D 5e-inspired mechanics as a foundation for experimenting with game systems, data structures, algorithms, and memory management.

Description

Character creation — Six ability scores with point-buy allocation, racial traits, classes, hit dice, and proficiencies inspired by D&D 5e.
Turn-based combat — Character statistics, weapons, equipment, hostile creatures, and extensible combat rules.
Data-driven architecture — Game mechanics and content are structured to minimize hardcoded behavior and make new systems easier to introduce.
Modular ruleset — Races, classes, progression, items, and other mechanics can be extended or replaced independently.
Computer science playground — Used to implement and explore inheritance, pointers, trees, data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
Terminal-first interface — Keeps the project focused on systems and game logic rather than graphical frameworks.
